But will that high school scrub player take 16 shots and miss 12 of them? Ryno has always been an integral part of this offense since he joined us years ago. He shoots the 4th most FG per game and scores the 4th most PPG for us. That's obvious. However, he is the least consistent of our scorers on the road. When he has a bad shooting day on the road, we usually lose. Look at his box score during all of our road losses. It isn't a coincidence. Give those shots to other players, aka distribute the ball better instead of giving one streaky player 16 shots, and you come up with a much better shooting percentage theoretically. Take away Ryno's awful shooting today, and we lose 11 points and shoot 31-67, which is 46.3% as opposed to the 41.7% we shot today. That's WAY better for us, and those 16 shots could have easily gone to other players who had much better shooting percentages on the day, such as Gordon, Evans, and Pondexter.
