He is my ideal 1st round selection above all others. My only concern is that he's seen as the top rated corner and in a passing league, they are highly coveted. At 13, I'm just not confident he'll drop that far.

You would think but he's mocked right now after our pick. There's not really anyone in the top 12 that you would think that would go corner. The Bears & Falcons are the only two possible suitors but both of them have brand new coaches and I don't see a brand new coach hinging his career on a corner. I mean this will be their first draft pick ever.

I concur, I've thought the same thing.

I'm afraid of this too, but he also said he wants to go somewhere that has a chance of winning, so that cuts out half the teams right there.
and then some team like Tennessee will offer him a ton of money and he'll do a presser saying. "I think we'll have really good season here." This is his bug contract. He's going to go for maximum dollars as he should.

Also. There is no circumstance that I won't be extremely pissed if we take a corner in first rd on draft day. I'd rather take the guard because I'm fairly certain we won't frick that up and pay a proven number 2 cb in Fa.

I would like for us to get in the draft this year

1. Vic Beasley OLB
2. Denzel Perryman ILB
3. Best OL on the Board
4. If Gurley is here take him, if not Best DB on the board
5. Best OL on the board

If our front 7 is legit and get pressure our DB's should look better!
