it's the NFCCG dude. McCarthy didn't just "have a bad day". There was terrible decision after decision. Their STs coach should be fired at minimum.

Ok. So coaches haven't had bad days in the Super Bowl or conference championship games?

I think they should at least be thinking about it.

Elway pulled the trigger on Fox last week because he came to the conclusion that they just wouldn't be breaking through with him as coach. And he was in the Super Bowl last year!

Aaron Rodgers was almost immobile by the end of the game and it totally affected his accuracy.

Eddie Lacy mentally checked out of the game after halfway through the 3rd quarter. He was totally worthless as Rodgers' safety valve.

Maybe he should get some credit for putting that team in a position to win the game in the first place.

I didn't say that. I said McCarthy had more than just a bad day is all. It was pathetic coaching. He made pussy call after pussy call and played conservative to the point of losing. He also oversees all other coaches and the idea that they weren't prepared for a fake FG when SEA was down 16 and starting to get to a point of having to get a TD is scary. I don't know all your players so my other question for STs is why was Bostick here trying to catch an onsides kick? Rodgers is a better catching TE. Is Bostick any good at all?

No sane person would do that. Mccarthy/Rodgers has won a ton of games, including a Super Bowl. Why the hell would you take out one of the pieces of the puzzle?

McCarthy? Are you kidding? 4th and inches from the goal line and they kick a FG. Already went over all the other terrible shite he did in this game. People will want to blame Bostick, but he shouldn't have been in that position to begin with.

Elway just did it with Fox. Granted, he didn't win the Super Bowl but he was in it just last year.

A Super Bowl isn't guaranteed employment for life. And if you believe that Rodgers is in play for GOAT, a lot of it had to do with him, right?

Or is McCarthy Rodgers' Belichick?

Because one is slipping, making critically bad decisions and the other is in his prime and you've got 4-6 years to really capitalize on it.

Unless you straight up think McCarthy is a great coach, I'm missing what's so blasphemous about the very idea that it may be time to move on?

Didn't he take them to another Super Bowl too? So, two Superbowls and an NFC Championship game and fire him? Righhhht.

Interesting. Why don't you tell us about that 2nd SB? Rodgers is the best QB in the game, makes a coach look a lot better than he is. McCarthy lost that game for GB, there is no other way to look at it.

They choked the game away, but they were road dogs. WTF is wrong with people?

I thought he had GB very prepared today

yes a road dog can choke a game away, particularly if they have a big lead

Either you got disconnected in the 4th and OT or we're just going to have to agree to disagree on this one.

You don't think the Packers had a great game plan today? They were up double digits as road dogs. Halftime adjustments were made by Sea, but that doesn't mean GBs game plan wasn't good.

Fine, the Packers' game plan for about three quarters was nothing less than exceptional. I'll let the whole "settling for FGs instead of TD's inside the 1" thing go.

Beyond that, I'm not sure what we're discussing here? That the Packers had an awesome game plan just as long as the other team never makes adjustments?

Before the game, I was wondering why people were talking about McCarthy being fire. Now I understand.

How could you possibly ignore how poor of a coaching job he had today? Goin into the game if you said they lost in OT that by itself would seem good but they way they lost that game is indefensible given that they had so many chances to deliver the knockout blow and failed
