Heard he would be in town this weekend but he wasn't part of the official 11. Any word on if he was on campus or when he will be? If you don't know him, he's the current Arizona State OG commit that we're working on.

I wonder if we will try to target more west cost guys since O is part of the staff.

ASU was supposed to take a big step forward as a program this year and they really dissapointed. Not to say that's all that goes through a recruit's head, but I think we have a massive advantage as it pertains to program potential right now. If Grimes and Orgeron (if he's involved in the kid's recruitment, idk) can match and surpass ASU's personal recruitment of him, I don't see why we don't snag him.

Wow if coach O can get these guys to come visit this late and we can get a couple DEs and 1 or 2 DTs it would be HUGE going into next year!!!

Bebe seems like a real shot in the arm to the staff. I just wish they had more time.

ASU lost 9 starters on defense coming into the year. I'm not sure in what universe that would lead to expectations of taking a step forward.

That being said they won 10 games for second year in a row. Truely a disappointment.

They return almost everyone outside of Jaelen Strong, and have a 5th yr sr at qb that outplayed last years starter.

I think LSU can be good next year, but saying their outlook is better is laughable.

ASU smoked Notre Dame.

Then Chavis leaving happened.

I'm an LSU alum and fan and an ASU fan. I'm not going to badmouth LSU. But regardless of our talent and coaching staff ability, the results the last two years have not been as expected. I'm not convinced much has changed to change that.

Honestly I like ASU....I think they will be better off next year at QB with Mike Bercovici...he's going to be a star.

Sensative much? He didn't say y'all sucked, he said you didn't take that big step forward and that was a disappointment.

You won the PAC South last year. You finished 3rd this year. I don't see any big leaps forward. Yeah yeah yeah, we didn't fare any better. But that's not what the guy was saying. And we weren't supposed to either.

I wasn't saying that they took a step forward. I was pointing out that an expectation of taking a step forward was unfounded.

And yes the last 2 games of the season were massively disappointing. But on a whole 10-3 is 10-3.

He made it and Orgeron and Grimes will be doing an in home with him in the next week or so with his parents. He reportedly had a good time on his visit to Baton Rouge and we "gave him something to think about".
