If Mickey and Martin leave after this season who do we have currently on the team or coming in next year that would start in their spots? Is it just me or if they both leave we will be in a rough spot next year even though we add Simmons, Victor and Blakeney? Someone with more knowledge fill me in...

Then why isn't Elbert playing more right now to get experience?

I don't understand playing Malone over him if he is supposed to be the real deal

Because he's not the real deal yet at least.

He can't jump? He can't run? He can't rebound?

because he looks absolutely horrible every time he gets in; same goes for epps

But I agree that LSU should endure the growing pains and get him more reps. We suffered through Quarterman lasy year, and it clearly paid dividends this season

Yeah, his confidence has been both great and a detriment to the team at times.

Did you see the one 3 he threw up with about 3 min left? Thought it was going to hit the score board

You mean going to NBA? they are average college players.

We are bringing in two NBA lottery picks. No way we will be in a "rough" spot.

You still have to coach them up. I think will see some exciting basketball from those two, but I still expect NIT.

At this point i think both of them would be stupid to do so. They could raise their draft stock a lot with a final four run next year

I haven't watched the NBA in nearly 20 years, probably longer....

Is the NBA now advocating a much "softer" play, a la the NFL?

If so, then M&M will be gone.

If not, then M&M should stay one more year. Those two are as soft as Charmin tissue.

Neither would have a prayer in the NBA...wise up and become good college players first. Martin is light years away from the NBA.
