agreed, just have no confidence in anything productive happening when he does rarely call a timeout.

Except he tried to pass it to Keith. If he hadn't he wouldn't have turned it over. He wasn't ball hogging at all. He rarely ball hogged in this game. That's not really his problem. He has trouble with decision making like when to kick the ball out on a drive or when to attack the rim. He doesn't take a frick ton of shots. He's trying to be something he isn't, which is a pass first point guard.

This was a bad, bad loss! They went to a basic zone & double teamed the post/corners....that's it! No magic, mystical defense - just a good old fashioned 2-3 zone! Unacceptable that we cannot run 1 set play vs a zone!

problem is, a layup still loses the game, we were down three. Every coach in the country sets up a play for a three. If Gray was just going to ad lib, he should have pulled up for the three.
