If RR does what he needs to, the addition of Valentine and Garrett will play HUGE dividends next year.

With Steele coming in, you think part of the idea was trying to find a way to get Garrett and Beckwith on the field at the same time?

TV will be on the field.

He is still at LSU.

RR is another story. Hope it works out for him.

No.

If Garrett is good enough, he will play. And he would have under Chavis. Pretty simple. There just wasn't a spot open for Garrett to play this past season.

If we want them both on the field at the same time, just slide 1 over to the SLB spot and the other in the middle. And I think it would be Beckwith who would slide over consideing he's atheltic enough to play on the edge and in space. Don't need to base our DC hire just off of that

From RR's side, it sounds like he will be playing. He has even been watching game film of last season

So, it's safe to assume that Robinson will never play for LSU again. Great.

Didn't Garrett come in out of shape and slow? I think they needed to get him up to speed.

RR will be on the field next year because the Shoe Salesman guy took the heat and went to jail.

The only way Garrett and Beckwith play at the same time - aside from some goofy one off situation - is if we go to a 3-4, or if Lamar or Debo are injured.

What is this infatuation with second stringers? They weren't starters for a reason.

Look, I pull for every Tiger on the team, but until I see them play, I really have no idea how they will play. RR can play, but obviously he has issues which hopefully he can work out. I hope both Garrett and Valentine become great players, but again I haven't seen them play a snap and sometimes recruiting rankings are correct and sometimes they are crap. In fairness to Valentine, he didn't have a chance to play, but Clifton was one of the few freshman that didn't play in some capacity.
