The Grateful Dead haven't played since 1995.... The Dead, however, have.

Hyatt Regency downtown is classified as "The Loop-Downtown" and has a $159 rate. Looks to be about same distance as The Palmer House.

Cubs vs Cardinals game on Monday too.

A Virgin hotel just opened this week - very close to millennium park/soldier field, probably worth checking out

I think the music will be great and I certainly think Trey shows up in a big way. He has to understand the magnitude of this and has plenty of time to get ready.

The stadium show part of it doesn't have much appeal to me, not very intimate for all that $.

It'll be great fun without a doubt though.

I'm going regardless if I get my hands on a ticket. My happy arse will set up camp on Shakedown Street.

good tickets will be impossible. I don't think getting in the stadium will be too much of a problem

There will be tickets on the ground.
