I just got a notice in the mail that dish is going up 5 dollars a month on their packages. I have received this same letter 4 years in a row. I used to pay 55 dollars a month now it is up to 75 dollars a month. this is getting ridiculous

I just got off the phone with Cox about an hour ago... apparently Cox is increasing their prices this month too.

I didn't ask how much because I'm under a contract and it won't affect me.

I got the same email, except from DIRECTV. I'm thinking about just switching companies every two years to get the "new customer" promotion.

Does Dish give you a discount for all the lobbying they make customers do on behalf of their cheap asses

Obama and retailers see the extra cash you have in your pocket due to the drop in gas prices.

You're going to start seeing higher prices everywhere.

And your taxes are going up as well.

You should just pay their higher prices so their employees can keep their jobs.

Let me know when anything goes down. This notion of lower prices for eveything such as groceries or retail is rediculous, WHEN oil goes back up so will everything over current.

Then he needs to re read my post that he responded to.

Eta: maybe he was just agreeing with me.

I just dropped them at $71 a month (same plan as you) yesterday for direct today. More channels, $25.

Call and tell them you're leaving. They offered the same plan for $30 a month for 2 years.
