Would be a good hire, Muschamp is great as an X's and O's guy, he just lacks the mental capacity to build a defense or recruit for the long term. Personally I hope he stays at Auburn, gonna a be hilarious to watch him degrade and sabotage a third straight program (Notice how both Texas and Florida became less successful and less talented the longer he stayed? )

Boom is great at kissing Media arse and sucking up to Boosters but when it comes right down to it everything beyond basic game planning-- don't ask him to adapt mid-game he doesn't know how to do that either-- is just a little too much for him.

When you think about it the NFL would be good for him it would fit his strengths as a scheme guy but cover his weaknesses (recruiting, development, personnel management).

Brian VanGorder did this to SCe in "08. He became SCe's DC in Dec of '07. He then took the Falcons job under Mike Smith one month later in Jan. '08...
Well since it's happened one time the likely-hood of it happening again increases exponentially.

Until mustchamp comes out and is honest like Saban and says he is not interested in the Falcons DC job there is a chance.

NFL was not Muschamp's cup of tea the first time around under Saban. Those NFL players laughed at Muschamp's antics. No way he goes back to work there even for Quinn. Do you think Quinn is going to turnover his defense to Muschamp.
