Phoenix is currently sitting nicely as the 8th seed:
23-18 (.561) and separated themselves from the 9-11th seed with a nice 6 win and 4 win streak in december and january respectively.

Sitting at 9th: Pelicans 19-19 (.500)
No win streak > 2 wins

Sitting at 10th: OKC 18-19 (.486)
Injury bug early on to two star players, but hit a 7 win stride to get within striking distance before more injuries

Sitting at 11th: Denver 18-20 (.474)
Shocking that Denver who is blowing up right now is still in the hunt. Want to know why? A nice 5 win streak (including vs. us) in November, and most recently a 5 win streak right now against 4 western conference teams and orlando.

It won't be Denver. OKC will be in. Us or Phoenix. We will have to be at least 8 games above .500 to have a chance. At least. 26-18 at the least the rest of the way if we want a shot

Won't happen. Has not happened all year long! This team is incapable of making a run. I hope I am wrong but this team has me burned out already. Maybe it was just from being burned out from the football season, not sure.

finishing this road trip 4-1 would be clutch but I doubt we win out. I just don't see us beating out Phoenix or OKC in the 2nd half of the season

We can catch Phoenix in the next 10 games. Need to claim that 8th spot and never look back. If we give OKC a shot late in the season, they'll probably step up and steal it from us. Phoenix is not nearly as formidable as OKC imo.
