I am looking at Hilton or Bois de Chenes, but was hoping for a bit better. Is there anything really nice to stay in the area?

We used to put our NY investment banker/owners up at this place. They thought it was great.

Carriage house is good as others suggested.

I like staying at the Juliet because it's downtown. Boutique hotel but nice king rooms.

It's done to Houston and laffy...just a quick food trip.

I have always thought downtown was better to stay to cut down on drinking and driving?

Try to drop by Parish Brewing too...open around 2pm weekdays, 11am Saturdays.

Also Social for cocktails/small plates, French Press downtown for brunch
