King tuff with ex hex

It was an awesome show. All bands really brought it tonight. It was good seeing a crowd out tonight. Last time king tuff played for my girlfriend, me, and five other people.

I went to the show last night...

Native America was ok... seemed like the dude was trying to channel Jonathan Richman (Modern Lovers era), a bit... Didn't hate it at all (GF didn't like 'em), but nothing stand out..

Ex Hex was awesome... basically played their entire new album... great guitar, power pop and Mary can play the guitar! They got in and out... it was fun and it looked like they were having fun..

Heard a bit of King Tuff in the front bar, catching up with some friends, so I don't have a big opinion.. but what I heard through the speakers (granted shitty sound), didn't make me want to go back and check em out... that also could be because I was getting tired, so we split after a few songs of theirs..

edit: I was very surprised at how many people showed up on a rainy, cold Wed. At one point I heard the line was out the door and halfway down the block..
