BeBe joining the LSU staff has a little lagniappe to the hire.

I am a huge fan of the hire of BeBe, previous posts I have made have said that with Wilson and BeBe on staff we will lock up Louisiana and be a force in East Texas & Mississippi.
But to use a louisiana term the lagniappe in the hire is that BeBe knows Kiffin and his offensive schemes extremely well which definitely will help us as long as Kiffin stays at Bama.
The flip side is that Chief at TAMU will help them when they play us also.
Also Steele knowing Saban doesn't hurt either obviously!

so in that sense wouldn't LSU's offensive coaches know what would or wouldn't work against the defensive sets that Chavis uses? Or Kiffin know the same about Coach O? It's a wash if you ask me.

Neither Bama nor LSU run scheme's that rely on deception to be effective. It's not like Steele and Chavis are going to be able to supply some big secret to the offenses. Both teams rely on simplicity and overwhelming you athletically. When you have superior talent you don't need or should get too fancy.

Chavis to ags means nothing. Everybody in the country knows our offense. Toss dive right, toss dive left, incomplete pass, punt. Its not that hard to figure out!

Chief, "Coach Sumlin, we should gameplan for the toss dive against LSU this week."
Sumlin, "That's why we pay you the big bucks."

thats the beauty of it. They have known what we are running every year we have played them. Their players are just too big of pussies to stop us.
Chavis can scheme all he wants, but that isn't going to stop his safety from getting trucked by Fournette. Chive's 2010 defense was probably his second best at LSU, and Cam went off on them. Schemes are great when you have personal who can make a play.

True very true, a fella can dream can't he that our offense changes and adapts. I realize this could be a pipe dream because of who our HC is!!!
