if 24/7 is saying he hasn't been let go, then Brick is probably dead.

Basically what's being reported everywhere else. Creating administrative role for him until the vote to add another coaching spot comes around next month

Admin role...even better

Really couldn't see Les firing him.

Les will probably add him back to the staff if the NCAA rules change to allow 11 coaches.

Interesting. I wonder how this relates to "guaranteed money" and "buy-out". I wonder if this is a soft way of letting him go without paying any kind of guaranteed money.

Doubt it. Moving a guy to make room for another coach, then bringing him back...ouch. Brick will jot coach at LSU again if he goes to admin role.

He probably took another job 6 weeks ago and our insiders are just hearing about it.

The true answer is that Miles doesn't want Haley leaving before National Signing Day because he has several recruits who committed because of Haley and Miles doesn't want to upset the apple cart. Haley's now public demotion to an administrative role may not be good news for a couple of our commitments. Haley will take the DC job at Cinn, DL job at A&M, and there were two other schools who are interested. Corey Raymond also gaining a lot of interest from other programs as well including Oklahoma.

what I don't understand is, if Les feels we needed a shot in the arm in recruiting why were were throwing out extensions like candy?

BS. The recruits are pumped!

And, btw, these coaches are intelligent and don't have the fragile egos all these posters keep projecting on them. There's a game plan, and Brick might be one of the creators of that plan.

My guess is that Miles knows Brick is going to aTm, and they are just waiting til NSD so Sumlin can get the extra visits. This is Miles way of pushing him out and not waiting.

They are moving a Brick to LB coach as soon as the vote is over...just a holding pattern..

As soon as they move him to an admin role he's outta there. He has real jobs waiting on him at A&M or the NFL.

Was kind of hoping he'd go to A&M and not recruit any 1st round D-linemen like he's done here.
