The best DC can't coach without talent.
I'll reserve judgment on Steele until a few games in next year. However, these two hires will pay dividends TODAY.

We were already one of the best. Surely it will be the best. that doesn't mean you have the top recruiting class, though.

Bama consistently was at the top because of recruiting. Look at all the great players they had there. Now I know development and game day coaching is important. But what I have heard constantly on the radio on boards etc. "Players make plays not schemes."
Our recruiting has been good but not great at times, we missed on some very important recruits. This three headed monster will pay dividends on the recruiting trail.

Everybody remembers his last game vs WVU.

The word is that Brick will be leaving (probably to A&M with Chavis) and Coach O will be the DL coach.

As a Clemson grad I can tell you he is an unmitigated disaster and wrecked a defensive unit that was fairly loaded when he got there.
