Does LSU make DC's great? (Last 15yrs)

It's a theory out there and I think it will be true again. Did we Luck up with Peleni, Muschamp, Chavis? Or does our style of ball control offense, and local talent make good DC's look great? Even 2008 wasn't close to as bad as the worst defenses in the SEC lately. I'm gonna hope this is the case and predict our defense to be a top 3 SEC defense the next 3 yrs

Defenses were bad in late 1990s, 2001-2002 were mediocre, 2008 was bad, 2013 was mediocre. So no.

Not entirely true. He had top 20 defenses at Clemson his first 2 years.

So to answer your original question, no.
