Going to be in Dallas this weekend and was wondering what yall think is the best steakhouse there. I have been to Bob's so would like to try a different place. TIA

Nick and Sam's in uptown is one my of my favorites. I also highly recommend Pappas Bros steakhouse.

There are a bunch of steakhouses down Maple (same street as Nick and Sams) in uptown.

What would be the Sat night dress code at Nick and SAMs?

+1 on Pappas. Really enjoyed my meals there.

I usually wear a sport coat, but you can probably get away without one. Button up shirt, of course. Slacks or dinner-appropriate jeans are fine.

ETA: This goes for just about any steakhouse in Dallas.

It's casual...........kennys wood fire grill in Addison makes a damn fine steak.

I've had nothing bad there and it's moderately priced.

It will be chilly enough this weekend....probably 55 or so at dinner time.....way warmer than it has been for last 3 weeks....for a sport coat. I will probably be in a tank top and flops but that's ok, they never let me in anyway.

Perry's (steaks are great ... the pork chop is phenomenal).
Pappa Bros.
Del Frisco's (my favorite)
Al Biernat's
Chamberlain's
Bob's (as you mentioned)

My one experience at Nick & Sam's, we didn't care for it.

Another good steak house, less expensive (don't believe it is prime) is Kenny's Wood Fired Grill.
