would chip kelly have made a (big)difference for oregon?

accidentally posted this on coaching change board, should be over here....

I think this loss was on helfrich and staff, the team just didn't seem focused and ready, in addition to some poor play calling and coaching decisions. In 2010, against auburn, oregon was completely outclassed in the trenches, and it was darron thomas(probably the worst qb oregon has had in the last 15 years) against cam newton, yet Kelly's team only lost by 3. Oregon had so many opportunities last night, and with 1 exception, couldn't make a play on offense(dropped 3rd down passes) or defense(allowing 3rd and long conversions) when they needed one. The red zone execution was awful. I really don't think there was any talent gap between the teams, just the biggest coaching mismatch in the short history of "national championship" games.

They lost to Auburn, LSU and Ohio State because of chips gimmicks.
Fast defense=goodbye pop Warner tricks.
