His name has been mentioned in reports, but Oakland is trying to hire him as head coach. It'll be hard to compete with a NFL head coach offer.

He's got bigger game in his sights, IMO. Remember when he was the popular choice for the LSU HC job back in '04. Came in for an interview as I recall. He's a good coach but I believe he sticks to the NFL in some capacity.

Tom Landry as head coach, chuck knoll as DC and Don Coryell as passing game coordinator, bill Walsh as overall coordinator for offense. Heard it from Ned the wino at discount zone on MLK blvd. he usually pretty reliable after second bottle of Wild Irish rose
