I'm about to sign up and looking for ideas on which charity does the best job with the funds it receives.
Which charity do you donate the most to and why?

Compassion International
Outstanding stewardship is more than a priority at Compassion. It’s a passion and deeply held value. Compassion is committed to investing at least 80 percent of gifts received into front-line ministry. In fact, when you gave to Compassion this past year, 84 cents of every dollar you gave was spent on programs that directly benefit children. We govern our spending on administration and fundraising so that nearly 1.5 million Compassion-sponsored children around the world can be released from poverty — all in Jesus’ name.

St. Jude's is pretty well known... I shouldn't have to sell you on them.

St. Judes is great, and an obvious answer. But I give to them in other ways throughout the year and there are tons of other charities that do good work and need the money too.

I'd say donate to something local. Generally they are severely underfunded and the national offices just waste money on executive pay.
I'm supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Great organization that actually uses its donations for researching a cure. If you want to read on your own, go to cff.org

St. Jude's is great, WWF is alright I just don't like some of their climate change work.
Is National Park Foundation an option?

St. Jude's
It costs a little north of 1 million a day to keep St. Jude's running.
ets: Just fact checked and it actually costs north of 2 million per day.

I didn't think about local charities with Amazon Smile, but I guess they would be eligible as long as they were 501(C)(3)
