Beatles are goat
Stones are my 3rd favorite band and right behind the Fabs and LZ. Rock out to them all the time. Best driving music
It all depends what day it is, and how I'm feeling

I'm a Stones man. They're one of my fav's. I respect the Beatles' work, but they've never done it for me, and that's just my personal taste.

Stones- workhorses. staying power. touring. still alive.

I like the Beatles more so for individual songs, but I like the Stones more for their body of work, or should I say mostly Brian Jones era material. I liked the Stones early more blues oriented material and of course my favorite Stones album- Their Satanic Majesties Request, where they went full psychedelic.

Stones, but I don't really like either of them.

Definitely the Beatles.
Respect the hell out of the Stones, but it's the Beatles by a long shot.

Beatles have more artistic range and more memorable songs. Stones are great, though.

quote:Tell that to the musicians who have covered Beatles songs. LINK The number and variety of instrumental covers gives evidence that the Beatles were appreciated as more than just Pop artists. Their music was inspirational to other artists. It's a pity you have no appreciation for the excellence so many others recognize.
Stones, because The Beatles' music isn't actually any good.

The Beatles.
I enjoy The Stones, and Sympathy for the Devil is one of my favorite songs of all time. I just enjoy the records The Beatles put out much more overall, especially the later ones. The White Album, Revolver, Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper's, and Let It Be are all albums I can listen to all the way through. Lennon-McCartney was a songwriting force rarely seen. From the more popular songs like Helter Skelter and Let It Be to the lesser popular songs like Rocky Raccoon (a personal favorite) and Two of Us, there's just so much quality front to back on those albums.
For me, The White Album is, pound for pound, the greatest album of all time. That's just my personal preference, though.
