Searched, SIAP.

Low visibility and 'whiteout' conditions are to blame, as well as drivers not leaving adequate space between vehicles. 3 reported fatalities from the accident.

Warning, video may be disturbing to some viewers.

Watching that semi go piling in is tough to watch. He went from 30- 40 mph to a dead stop in less than a second by piling into the back of two truck trailers while 50k lbs pushing into his back.

ETA: Wasn't in that video in the link, but I saw another video where a red Peterbilt pulling a flatbed went right into the middle of the pileup. Here's the video: LINK

That's less than you would expect. Some of those cars were moving at a fast click and not slowing down before impact. frick driving in the snow.

One of the 18 wheelers was loaded with fireworks that caught on fire. Saw it on the news.

Scary seeing the people walking around the scene.

Trauma can rob your senses, assuming you have any.

Watch this traffic DOT camera video that has a better view of a pileup in Wisconsin.

40 or so vehicles involved in it.
