He did it for the team:

Monty Williams said after talking to Tyreke Evans & Eric Gordon about synergy, Evans volunteered to come off bench for betterment of team

Now the naysayers can hush now about him being selfish.

Wow. What a badass move by Tyreke. It worked to boot.

this is a big overreaction on my part but I feel today could've been a turning point for the season

Sucks that we lost to frickin Charlotte, we could've been looking at a potential 5 game win streak. I still expect us to lose 1 of these next 3 even though we shouldn't and can't afford to. Just too much inconsistency.

The team showed a good deal of mental toughness tonight, and the body language between Davis/Evans looked night and day. This is a pretty awesome glimpse into Reke's character compared to what it was perceived to be.

We're still in the thick of a 4 team race to two spots. I don't want Monty to fail. He just has been. I'd love nothing more than for him to find the right rotational buttons that led to a winning atmosphere for this team.

Outside of the first half of the second quarter we were completely in control against a very legit team.

Team was really calm and kept things together.

No... by all accounts Tyreke is a good kid and humble.. On the court he may be selfish sometimes but he will do whatever it takes to win...

I don't remember exactly. You were bitching and moaning about something or other not long ago.

was it justified? I know this is a tough concept for you but everything ain't always unicorns and rainbows. if you haven't complained about this team at least once this season you are a pretty delusional fan

Gordon isn't a ball-dominant player any longer, so Tyreke not being on the floor means the offense runs through Jrue's hands to primarily AD. Before, we had 2.5 ball dominant guys and Tyreke would derp it all and restricting AD's touches. Then we'd end up with horrible guards running the 2nd unit.

The guy that needs the better spacers (Babbitt, Ajinca, Ryno) is Tyreke since he doesn't have a jumpshot/outside shot and he's better with penetration.

EG is where we need him the most and it showed tonight

I am one of the least negative people on this board. You are one of the biggest whiners. Suck it

I'm glad Evans was open to this, as it is what this team needs. That showed and it definitely helped with the "staggering" that everyone had been hoping for.
