His recruitment slowed down in August IIRC. I doubt he's a take with the other receivers on our board the next couple years.

Texas pushing hard for him. Since Burt de-committed, they want to take at least two of Strickland, Lodge, and Newsome.

I really like Strickland early on. He's 6'5, runs in the 4.4s and high points the ball.

With what we got next year, plus last year, and the two this year, I don't think we should be focusing on any more WR recruits.

I am all in for Charlot and Dillon to finish this class at WR.

Lodge is the truth and the only one I would think about adding. But the aforementioned 2 are must. Game changing athletes that will compete for PT early.

It would be hard to pull both Dillon and charlot imo because we returned all of our receivers from last year and added a 5* this year. Either one of them would be a nice pickup for depth but they wouldn't likely get a lot of playing time until they are jr and seniors

I think we can get them and use them. I mean Diarse and Quinn weren't all world so they could compete.
They both could also return kickoffs and punts. Punts i would actually like to see Jackson do this.

But its room to play. Dural and Diarse will be gone next year and then its just Dupree and Quinn. I am not sure about Avery Peterson. I havent heard much except an article saying he was ready for bowl game.

Are we still in the running for Lodge?

Probably not. But he would be the only one I would push the LA guys out for.

Diarse would have to blow up next year for him to even consider the draft. Next 2 years we will be very deep at WR especially if we keep dee Anderson and Sullivan on board. Dee Anderson has 5* potential and should be our biggest WR target next year, I think last year he had over 150 yards receiving in a game with a broken finger! He missed some time in the year bc of it but still finished with 800 yards. As long as we keep what we have we will be alright trust me

While I think Sullivan could be an awesome WR, I think there is still a chance he plays another position. Namely DE.

It would be a good switch for him.

He's still fairly open but I don't think so. Last I heard he was focusing on Baylor, Ole Miss, and A&M. He didn't mention LSU at all.

I'm hearing Lodge favors Ole Miss. If so, Strickland is worth reaching out to.

Both are takes. Dillon can do it all. Charlot for obvious reasons.

Why do you think Diarse would leave? One year with 15 catches 275 yards and 3 TDs? He probably doubles that next year, but nobody is leaving early with totals like that. He doesn't even have the measurables to help him out.

IMO 2016

Diarse RSJr
Spears RSJr
Dupre Jr
Quinn Jr
Chark So
Upchurch RSFr
Johnson So
Ferguson RSFr
Anderson Fr
Sullivan Fr
2016 WR Fr

That's 11 WRs
