Will be located where Portico's on Perkins use to be.
They hope to be open as early as March.

"Table Kitchen and Bar’s daily menu will focus on traditional offerings such as chicken, pork, fish and steak—all with a farm-to-table culinary approach—as well as featured selections of game and charcuterie. The restaurant will serve alcohol, with a wine list, craft beers and cocktails."

Don't know. Something bout where choo choo go. Langland only pawn in game of life.

I read in one of the articles that Donnie Jarreau said "Portico’s owners decided to leave the local market to concentrate on their north Louisiana locations".

To me, that's another way of saying they were bleeding money.

I mean I drive past that place all the time going to Alb's and there was never anyone there.

It is really amazing that no restaurant can last in that location... Just put a bar there instead of a restaurant

Most of the menu was pretty mediocre.

It isn't the easiest in and out, heavy traffic area, highly patrolled by BRPD.

Sounds promising. Hopefully a nice beer menu to go along with it.

They had one in that spot for 40 years-Donnie Jarreau ran them off. I hope it stays vacant.

Ho-hum. Played out name, same concept as everyone else who's trying to catch up to trends from 3 years ago.

They probably shouldn't have opened the 2nd B. R. location until the first one was well established. Now they are both gone.

I'm with you. Two businesses have failed since Southdown's Lounge was forced out.

I think Marcello's was doing great in that location and lack of business wasn't the reason they closed.

Don't forget the worst bar in Orleans Parish, "Ale."

The best bar in Baton Rouge and I started going there when I was 16. He did run them off and since then it's revolving doors. He had a solid tenant and the people who went ate at restaurants all over that area before going there. He fricked that one up.
