I get what y'all are saying, but none of that changes the fact that Jozy plays wayyyyy better with a solid team around him. I'm not arguing anything about Swansea (none of what tn was saying was relevant to my discussion) except that they are better than Sunderland. Bony is clearly the better player. That's not even up for discussion. Jozy has been quality for the U.S. and I'm disappointed he hasn't replicated that form on the club level the last year and a half.

Bony's hold up play and vision with aguero making runs is going to create a lot of goals especially if Bony and Aguero get on the same level as him and gylfi

Exactly. Kun/Bony will be much more effective than Kun/Dzeko if they stick with that 4-4-2. He's been one of my favorite players to watch from afar the past couple years. He will do well at City I think.

I wouldn't say they're nothing alike. I think they have a lot of similarities in their game which will help them play together in City's squad, but they do have some complementary attributes which will let them mesh better than Aguero has with other partners.

Assuming City actually buy him, and I refuse to jinx this move.

I hope Dzeko falls out of favor with this move and Chelsea can scoop him up. He would significantly enhance our side and provide depth behind Costa.

wish Jozy had gone to a mid table club with decent midfielders

lol

Jozy is rubbish, he had a great run in Holland, when the league bottomed out. But he is who he is.

Guy wouldn't be a star in the MLS.

Looks to be £28m plus add ons for Wilf.

@danielstorey85: Joe Allen, Wilfried Bony, Michel Vorm, Scott Sinclair and Ben Davies.

Bought by Swansea for £14m
Sold by Swansea for £68m

Most likely wait until the summer. Winter market is always inflated and other teams would know we have £30m in the bank right now looking for a replacement. I think we ride it out with Gomis and Oliveira up top. If anything maybe another fullback but it wouldn't be a splash signing

BBC says 25 + 3m in add ons.

Jose would never play him. His work rate is awful.

Oliveira looked pretty good the other day and isn't Fulton a striker. I think our attack will be fine if we keep gomis in the summer but we need someone to replace Rangel now. Jazz and tiendali scare me.

Jay Fulton? No he's a CM

Rangel is past his prime for sure. I like Jazz. Don't know if he's consistent to be the first choice though

BBC still saying 25m up front and 3m if they win the PL, CL, or FA and he plays in 60% of the games in that competition. So probably 28m total at some point.

haha yes and everybody should watch it. That's probably the best music on a highlight video I have ever seen. and it couldn't be any more fitting because Bony is daddy cool.
plus it shows more of his dance moves
