I was with Verizon for about 10 years and never went over 4 Gigs of data a month. 5 months into my T-mobile switch I am always over my allowance of 5 gigs.

I have wifi at home, work and the gym which is where I am at 95% of the time.

Any way to figure out what is going on? Something is fishy.

Type of phone?

No matter what you have, you should be able to go into your settings and see what apps are using lots of data, and turn off background usage if necessary.

very easy to see on an android phone.

also, make sure you're connected to wifi when you think you're connected to wifi.

i dont come close on my tmobile data usage since they allow all music data for free.

Verizon was screwing me when I changed plans until I called them out on it. As soon as I switched off of unlimited, they had me at triple of what I was using on unlimited. Their stats didn't match up with my phone's, and after a few calls, they did something and I am back to normal usage

somewhere on your phone there is a way to see what happens are using what data. I got a new phone and a stupid family guy game I had on there updated while on 4g and added 350mb, then facebook will eat a lot if you watch the videos.
