I hate a thief

My truck was at my house during the holidays while I was at the camp and somebody broke in to my truck and stole my XDM 9mm.Im so pissed knowing I will probably never see my gun again.

First off, that sucks and I bet you are pissed.
I know plenty of people leave their guns in their vehicles, but it freaks me out to think that someone would take it out of my truck and use it against me or my family.
I don't like to even leave guns out in the house so I don't forget them the next morning. Paranoid that someone would break in and would just arm themselves.

Why why why would you leave a gun in your truck when you are not there, especially for that length of time? I don't like to leave mine in the truck over night

I usually take it out but im not sure why i didnt.I was in a hurry to pack and get to the camp and didnt think about it.I know now not to keep my gun in my truck over night.My neighbor is a cop and said that whoever took my gun also broke into 4 other vehicles in our area the same night.

people say they hate thieves so much but they make it so easy for them. i hate when people buy a gun to leave in their true for this reason.

where i live, if somebody broke into my truck, there would be a footrace from the ghetto to my house so whoever won could be the first to tell me.
I had a blower stolen and before I knew it was gone there was a mob of informants. the dumb arse was put in jail and was dealt with in a manner I would consider old school.
sorry to hijack, but it sucks that anybody has to worry about thieves.

Funny you should say that, had a .357 stolen out of my truck years ago figured I'd never see it again. Got a call 3 years later and they arrested some 15 year old in nTV carrying my gun. Got it back a year later.
