What are the chances of this guy getting snaps next season? If he isn't going to, he should really consider trying out for the basketball team! Saw him playing pickup games at the UREC today and he is pretty damn good. He can drive well and even knocks down the 3. He has to be able to get some snaps in football next year though because as i watched him play he was just too quick on his feet to not be in the football game.

Hahahah I was guarding him most of the night. Motherfuxker ate my shite up. I've never had so much trouble girding someone off the perimeter. He's a triple threat. Glad he missed his dunk. But in fair I fouled the shite out of him

Some guys take longer to develop at the college game.

He was the fastest man on the court and the heaviest next to me and he has me outweighed by about 50 lbs

He got a lot of snaps this past season and was really improving down the stretch.
And yea Bain is a great bball player. He played bball before football. And averaged like 19pts and 12 rebs his senior year. And I believe he could / can dunk.
And I'm a big Bain fan for us in the future. Great size and athleticism and very explosive. Once he figures it out he's gonna be a player.

Anybody that is an SEC football player is generally a good player in basketball regardless of position or size. There is a few exceptions, but on the court in pick up games, they usually do well. I know this from playing against football players and several NBA guys in pickup games at the campus gyms.

No. I've played lots of football players in the gym. Bain is by far the best basketball player I've seen from the football team. That's including Dural Kwon Rickey Jefferson Jordan Jefferson Avery Peterson jalen mills I've played against all those dudes and yes they're fast and yes they can all jump but being a skilled ball player is more than that and Bain has it. Every tool. Elevation rebounding shot dribble pass. The guy played some good opposition tonight and he was not stopped. Him and a guy named Derrick not sure of the spelling but he was a DB has dreads. Those two can walk in and do whatever they want to anyone two people who try to guard them 1 on 1 is a joke for em. I only tried to stop him from shooting 3's. Didn't even try to stop his drive after I knew I couldn't guard it. 1 point is better than 2. I tried to keep him from getting the ball for the most part. That didn't work well either. I've never been shite on so hard in the UREC. I had No clue he was that good.

Sounds like he needs to hit up Johnny Jones

I think he could be a good TE. He's got hands. Catching a bball and a football is different but with his athletic ability I think he can do whatever he wants. I heard Mo Claiborne was a good bball player too. Is that true? Anyone play against him.
