The Tigers' slate outside of the SEC this spring includes a season-opening series vs. Kansas, a visit from Boston College of the ACC and a road trip west on I-10 to take on Houston, Baylor and Nebraska in the Houston College Classic.
Future schedules include a home-and-home contract with Texas -- in Baton Rouge in 2018 and in Austin in 2019.
LSU will also meet Notre Dame twice in the near future with a road trip to South Bend for a pair of mid-week games in May 2016 and a season-opening series at Alex Box Stadium in 2018.
Here are the weekend series set up for non-league play for the next few years:
2016 | Cincinnati, Sacramento State, Fordham, Ball State, at Notre Dame (May 10-11)
2017 | Air Force, Maryland, Hawaii, Wichita State
2018 | Notre Dame, Texas, Sacred Heart, TBD

This is great, we no longer have to complain about our weak OOC.

Meh, other than texas, the future years OOC schedule looks weak.

I love the minute maid tourney this year. We should schedule that every yeAr.

Wichita is decent, but nwxt year we have almost nothing, and in 17 we have wichita and thats pretty much it.

Now some of these teams could step up, but other than texas most of that wont bring crowds to the box.

Seriously doubt it.

True, but outside of the SEC we rarely get big OOC crowds.

Love this years Houston set up though.

Hawaii won't be able to handle the frigid Alex Box temperatures.

Won't happen with the current managers, but would love to see a H&H with UVA.

I'm surprised the Hawaii series wasn't scheduled in Honolulu. The whole athletic dept might have gone on that trip.

At least they have a marquee home and home set up.

Maryland was one game away from Omaha last season. They are decent also.

You could have said the same thing about VA Tech last year and they were garbage. You just never know
