I think the Soccer Board should try and create a transfer rumor that gains ground on social media.

I was just contemplating doing something similar with the LSU DC search. People are jumping on every damn one. I'd be interested if I could get something going on the web.

Desperate to find a leader and defensive player as dominant as former captain Carles Puyol, Barcelona is rumored to be looking at Matt Besler with a potential offer of $8 million.

You'll never top monsterballads (TheDoc at the time) with his stone cold Saban to UT lock based on "people in the know" and some random website saying UT boosters bought Saban out of a bad real estate deal in BR.

Never.

Isco’s fantastic season at Real Madrid has not gone unnoticed in north London, where Arsenal are making plans in order to return to compete with Manchester City and Chelsea for the Premier League title. The British newspaper the Daily Star claim Arsenal boss Arsène Wenger is plotting a mega-offer of 81m euros to prise the Spaniard away from the Bernabéu. If it comes off, it would be the most expensive transfer in the history of the club and the Premier League.

The English newspaper explain that Isco feels constrained by Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale and wants a starring role in a new team. Therefore, and because of the good relations between Arsenal and Real Madrid (they agreed to the transfer of Mesut Özil for 50m euros in the summer of 2013), some in England feel there is a strong chance the deal could take place.

The other objective is Mandzukic

Following Fernando Torres’ return to the Calderón, the London club think that Atlético might be willing to sit down to discuss the sale of the Croatia forward Mario Mandzukic. Giroud does not convince due to his inconsistent form, and Wenger wants an elite forward to share attacking duties with Alexis Sánchez and Danny Welbeck.
