We are terrible businesspeople. Figured this would be a good way to help mitigate the crush of everyone arriving at 1 pm and ready to eat.

Yes. We are using wooden nickels this year. They come in denominations of 1 and 5s. You can use them to buy competitor food, drinks, vendor food, etc... Will also accept cash at bars this year.

Hold Steady and North Mississippi All Stars were great but I can't complain with The Wood Brothers, George Porter Jr, Toubab Krewe, Earphunk, Tab Benoit,etc... I hear Strand of Oak is pretty good too.

We piloted this system in Charleston and it worked very well. The nickels are sturdier and track better than those flimsy paper tickets. Makes it easier to price things and do change as well.
