Should LSU Hand Out Helmet Stickers?

I couldn't help but notice that 2 of the final 4 teams give out helmet stickers to their players for achievements and good plays. That is 50% of the CFB Playoff teams.

A little research shows that only 20% of college football teams give out helmet stickers. Pretty crazy that of these 26 teams, 2 made the final 4. That means of the 3% of teams that made the playoffs, 50% came from the 20% which give out helmet stickers.

Anyways, just wondering if anyone else had an opinion on whether we should do this. Seems like it could add some extra motivation and pride to our team.

As far what the helmet sticker would be, my ideas are:
- A miniature version of the Tiger on our helmet
- A Purple shaped Louisiana (to contrast with our gold helmets)
- A state capitol replica since LSU is in Baton Rouge which is the state capital

Thoughts?

No. They don't seem to mean anything. I think they should be a career long thing or something you get from In game performance only. I saw Ohio state's QB had a bunch of stickers and at the time he only played in one game. No way you earn all that in one performance

You can always come up with crazy statistics when you look at a small enough data sample. Did you also happen to notice that every team in the national championship game comes from a state starting with an O. Only 6% of states start with an O and 2/3 of those make up 100% of the NC game teams.

Name all the SEC teams that do it. Then tell me which of those have BCS titles.

Pretty sure they did in the 70's too lazy to search but I can remember Charles Alexander's helmet covered with little Tiger head stickers

We should change the name of the state to Ouisiana.

Further research shows that we actually used them in the 70's, so we aren't copying others.

Guess I should have asked, "Should we bring back helmet stickers?"

My hobby is LSU Football. I am looking for any way to improve this team and program that nobody else has thought of. You're welcome.
