Listened to so many of those crazy LSU radio games. I could not even believe what I was hearing, scoring so fast and often. Pete was the show!

Wow its been that long.

Had the good fortune to meet him and get his autograph following a Jazz vs Hawks preseason game in the PMAC.

Pete was nice enough to bring me in the locker room and introduce me to Elgin Baylor, Jazz coach at the time.

Telling me to be sure and get his autograph as well.

Still remember going to see him play as a freshman (when they had freshman teams vs "varsity"). After he played with the freshman team, the place would begin to clear out as the varsity played. His passes were unreal!

Pistol Pete was imitated by thousands of south louisiana kids in there back yards. We all back then wanted to be Pistol Pete. RIP old friend
