I don't find people particularly nice in Houston....they are not "mean" though. I do expect that indifference from a big city.

Dont get me wrong, I like Houston. I think most people I work with or live around are not "from" Houston.

Easily Houston, but I think the suburbs of Dallas have nicer people than the suburbs of Houston. And I am speaking from actual experience.

In my experience its Houston. But a lot of people in Houston aren't from houston. That factors in there

My vote goes to Houston. While Dallas is fun as shite, SMU alone has enough stuck up assholes to drive away most nice people.
