This is what the Miles detractors have had issues with and have been berated on this site for talking about it. Now, you have Chavis taking a shot at it publicly....of course he's getting more money as well. His 2011 defense was wasted by Miles.

"First, he has to replace defensive coordinator John Chavis, who jumped to Texas A&M because of more money and as Chavis said upon arrival in College Station, "I'm excited to play with a great offense."

Our offense sucks now but the 2013 offense was elite. Was he not excited then? Oh, that's right, we were young again.

And imagine where LSU would be at the QB position these last 7 years if UGA hadn't kicked Mettenberger off the team.

Make no mistake. This was not just coachspeak. This is about as direct as a coach will go publicly to obliquely let his displeasure with his former school known.

Find out what most of the other schools do that are in the other 100 or so places ahead of LSU most every year in passing. Why is it Ohio State is playing for the Natty with it's third string QB...just some areas of curiosity some people have.

what did you expect him to say, "never mind about loyalty, it was all about the money and getting a guaranteed contract to help set me up for retirement"?

It was a cheap and accurate shot. Yet by the same token in Chavis' six years in charge of the Tigers' defense, his 'D' allowed 10 fourth-quarter game-winning TD drives including that farewell choke job against Notre Dame.

Nothing new.

Our offense sucks, Miles never makes adjustments and out offensive game planning is laughable.

You know all the shite is accurate but if the Damn offense had been able to get a first down a couple times at the end of the games, and run the clock out, it would have been a NONE ISSUE,

the O has been the problem and I don't care who our new DC is he is going to have to deal with the constant let downs of the O

Yet Chavis himself easily stopped it the last 3 years

He was totally accurate, but it's a completely classless thing to say. No classy, respectable person ever says something like that when they walk away.
