and Alleva is bringing us back into the stone ages. Alleva is cheap and fails to understand that you have to invest in quality assistant coaches to sustain a winning program. Place the blame where it belongs.

bottom line is the hiring of Auburns DC has raised the bar, Chavis knew it and took advantage of it.
Market value for top DC's has changed,
We can stay market priced and stay competitive or
we can GO CHEAP AND GO HOME

This is a money situation and his job is to protect the football program at all costs. I understand the Chavis situation, but you need a homerun hire now. Miles can't miss because of the purse.

Bingo. Harbough's recent hire set aside significant money for assistant coaches. If LSU wants to stay relevant, it has to stay at the top of what it pays its coaches. Now is not the time to go cheap.

Obviously its less than 1.7 so I doubt CP and O can be hired for less.
