Seems like every club I'm in this time of the year talk starts of who they wish they could get rid of. Not sure if it's the rut that spawns greed in people but I generally try not to get caught up in it. I'm surprised we don't hear of more shootings or tree stand straps being compromised.

Called 3 different guys this morning that all hunt different places and they all bitched about someone they hunted with

At this point, I'd put up with that if I could ever find a damn club to join

And that's why I don't hunt club leases. Heck I have enough problems with my brother. Can I vote him out?

I was in a pseudo duck club up in the north MS delta several years ago. Good hunting but that place got to be like a soap opera. Everybody talking about everybody else and the main lease broker always talking out if both sides if his far to try and keep bumping up rates. We finally got out when some of my crew got fed up and threatened to whip that dude. We had some additional fields leased and had a few other spots to shoot birds due to our scouting and bird dogging. They were always giving us funny looks when we showed back up to the camp with full or near full straps on days they didn't do as well.

No, THEY have to deal with YOU.

And btw, after deer season I have a guy and some hog dogs ready if you want.

I'm hunting alone this year and don't have that issue.

Was in a club where I had connections to the land owner and had members from both sides always coming to me but hung about the others thinking I has some swing in it.

Also why I'm hesitant to start a club with friends

Bottom line is some people are self-entitled assholes, whether family, friend, or stranger it makes it hard to enjoy being around that. Then to alleviate that clubs started doing the personal tracts or stands and it screws up the purpose of having a 1500 acre lease If you can only hunt 2 stands.
