Saban will be retired or near the end of his coaching career. Once he's done, i believe that the 'luster' of going to play at that place will be no longer be around once he leaves, and they will go back to being medicore. Will atm be our biggest rival by that point? I already dislike them a lot after the Chavis imbroglio.

I haven't put much thought into 2020 but I'm certain that in 2040 our biggest rival will be Bowling Green

A&M feels forced. And the little brother Aggies rival will always be Texas even though they ran away from them because they were losing all the time.

Texas wants their money!!!!!!!!!!

Alabama/LSU is not a rivalry...

Your rival is Ole Miss, always has been and always will be.

Damn rivalries dont come and go

Coaches like Saban don't retire until they are ready to die. He may well still be coach at Bammer 15 years from now.

I don't think it feels forced.. For one, we've played them over 50 times, more times than we've played Auburn..their fans are devastatingly annoying, moreso than any other fan base in college football..plus, Houston has a huge alumni base of both LSU and A&M, so there are tons of Tigers and Aggies who work together and absolutely hate to lose to the other team.

The only drawback is like you said, how they will always hate UT..but I think they can leech onto another rival very easily, like a parasite..

I actually can't think of any team I'd rather LSU not lose to than the Aggies
