True Freshman, Mason Rudolph, is lighting it up right now. LSU offered him scholarship but locked up Harris instead. Lawdy, if Harris was better prospect than this kid we will win NC next year if Harris plays.

Wow...you've found yet another, slightly different way to say Harris should start.

Comes down to development and play calling. Okie State with Gundy have developed some good QBs and passing offenses.

Rudolph was Cameron's first choice and was offered before Harris. However, Rudolph never reciprocated any interest in LSU.

I remember Harris and/or his dad getting pissed on waiting for the offer and taking to Twitter to tweet something along the lines of "we're not gonna wait around."

So Les wanted a pocket passer? It can't be so

Rudolph was the first choice, he committed to okie before Harris did to LSU.

Just like us wanting Barrett before Jennings.

Or the fact we really like Jones, but I believe backed off because of grades and ended up signing Mett, rivers and Randall that year.

All of the other schools aren't lucky and LSU unlucky. It's simple, our qb's aren't allowed the opportunity to grow. They are held back.

Well we did have rivers Jennings and rettig on scholarship. He committed summer of last year. The offense was fine while we recruited him.

He was the first qb cam offered. Or maybe deshone kizer was. Can't remember.

Herp derp.

I mean, we only had a 3,000-yard passer the season before this guy committed. And OSU has such a rich and storied history of putting QBs in the NFL and competing for NCAA titles. . . Oh, wait.

That isn't true. LSU told him to look around, not the other way around.

I wish the rant could get over the obsession of other teams quarterbacks. They are not ours so who cares!

This is not what I heard and read. Cameron really wanted him and wanted him at camp. After there was no real reciprocation or response from Rudolph we essentially moved on.

Where did you get that? I thought he was very interested in LSU before Harris became the key target.

Saw your post above, do you have a link somewhere?

Actually LSU was considered his favorite until Harris was offered. Then his recruitment cooled off when they started focusing more on Harris
