Anyone else think that LSU is better suited to take on the "future of college football?" We were able to take down Oregon and A&M so easily. Once we get through the youth on offense, we should be able to take on these spread teams better than those Gumps.

The future is so bright with these boys.

What did you see this year that would lead you to believe any of that?

With a defensive coordinator that Tiger fans now think was incredibly overrated.

Alabama lost a playoff game to one of the best teams in the country. Take a look at their recruiting classes and tell me if you actually believe that they're in a "decline".

They just won the SEC. That's not a "decline."

no the problem is Les only has a good offense when his QB is a senior. you can not sustain success with that. Other teams do fine with Freshman QBs and 2nd string QBs. LSU will do nothing until it has at the least a decent game manager starting at QB.

Alabama has signed the #1 recruiting class 4 years in a row and have a good shot at another.

They aren't going anywhere.

I was thinking with an offense that could have been us playing last night and I thought we would have done a better job on D than they did. Bama was definitely a disappointment.

I seriously doubt we can claim to be part of any future with the qbacks we have right now

Nobody factors in players graduating or entering early. Not once have I heard Sims was basically a rookie (despite he being a senior). And next year will be another new quarterback. Being able to carry a good QB 3-4 years is great but now they have to find another new gem or rotate QBs on a yearly basis.
