I'm 27, but he is the best punter i have ever seen. Anyone else come to mind that i'm not thinking of?

Reggie Roby was good. Scott may end up being the best

Roby set an NCAA season record with a 49.8-yard average. In 1982, he led the nation with a 48.1-yard average. His career average of 45.4 yards ranks among college football's best and is still a school record

Brad Wing in 2011 was pretty unreal. He won the 9-6 Bama game for us and dominated the whole year.

He did regress a lot though. Still, he is an ambidextrous rugby style punter and was a beast in 2011.

Who was that punter La Tech had a few years ago, he still in NFL? I remember him being really good, not as good as Scott though?

Yeah. He was a weapon. That 70 plus yarder from his own end zone was crucial

And opponents only averaged something like 1 yard a return that season

Plus, there was this:

He had every shot in the bag last night and I'm excited to have him for years to come. If he can stay in form, it'll be dangerous. We got him for 3 year more years.

He was our most consistent weapon last night.

Not gonna lie. I thought our punter was good but that kid was like sick. I hope we never face a punter like that.

Ray Allen. He was better than Scott, but Scott is only a freshmen

I'll take "Things you never thought you'd hear on a sports board" for $800, Alex.

As good as Scott is, he can still improve greatly. He rarely punts toward the sideline or "coffin corner" as its called. If he could zero in his punts inside the 10 yard line toward the pylon then he will be even sicker.

You should just be happy if he keeps up his current production. Brad Wing was a beast in 2011 for us and every was calling him the best punter in LSU's history. Then he regressed big time.

Oh I'm beyond happy with this guy. He was Bama's best player last night and arguably the most consistent player for Bama all season.

I've given up on a Bama kicker.

The only thing missing last night was missed field goals for a typical Bama loss. I guess we never got a chance to kick them.
