I know I'm gonna get crushed for this.... but it appears that TCU presently has 10 kids from Louisiana on their roster. At the same time I don't believe LSU offered any of them, at least not the kids from West Monroe.

Question... Are we evaluating talent correctly? If so, are we simply not coaching our kids up?

Smart asses need not respond.

Obviously we missed some kids. Easier said now, with the benefit of hindsight, than then.

Allowing another team to form a pipeline into North LA is silly, we need to put a stop to it somehow.

Is that kid from Denham still playing for them?

Would have to compare the kids they signed to who LSU signed the same year. With scholarship limitations, LSU simply cannot sign everyone and some very good players will get away.

Not just kids we signed, but kids we missed out on too

LSU took a dump on this kid about 8 days before national signing day after he had been commited to them for 9 months.

Too many talented kids in the Boot. We can't sign them all.

Well, the staff evaluated Chuck Hunter and Mickey Johnson and decided that Johnson was the better player.

Thx for posting that. Knew about 2 not 3.

13 rows up on LSU side Tuesday my friends and I shared a laugh looking at #96 doing his best impression of a pregnant Kim Kardashian on the sidelines. Lol

McFarland was the MVP of the game yesterday.

Hunter was a clear miss and most of us thought so then.
McFarland was a tweener and while I think he could play here, he made the right choice going there. That defense fit him perfectly
Lathan was one that we didn't really miss(everyone did though) because everyone knew he had a ton of potential but he never played up to it in hs. I wanted to take a flier on him but most didn't because he just didn't play like his talent indicated. Kudos to Patterson and co for getting his talent to come out.

The misses that Miles makes are more frequent and more painful on a daily basis.
