I know.. Their qb is more efficient passing right now.. He even went through progressions and delivered a sharp accurate pass 2 times on this drive.

It's sad watching a triple option team more capable of throwing the ball than us. We could hire their coach and our passing game would improve.

Because LSU's offensive philosophy is flawed and QB's who can't grasp basic concepts or coaches who are inept at teaching them.

Because God hates LSU fans and wants to see them cry.

It's working.

Jennings was the one I was referring to... the coaches use the excuse that Harris doesn't either.

I actually saw Jennings play in High School against big time competition...Passes he struggles with now were pitch and catch at Marietta H.S...this is as baffling as not playing Harris who clearly has better passing upside...

Every game on television, it's like clockwork

"Why can >insert team here < throw the ball and LSU cant?"

...or so and so team is winning. LSU should hire their head coach

Big arse wide outs too.

Funny how 2 of the best wide outs in the NFL came from a triple option team. Demaryius Thomas, Calvin Johnson both Georgia Tech
Both them are about 6'5 225

I truly believe that Les Miles has convinced guys like Jordan Jefferson and Anthony Jennings that their job is safe, and nothing out of them is expected other than "don't throw an interception".

Listen to Jennings in the video on the td.com highlights. He said 2 or 3 times in about 12 seconds that he is ready to work in the offseason on "protecting the ball" and "making smart decisions". Completing passes and scoring points isn't important.

We have the worst passing offense in college football and it isn't even close

Calvin Johnson didn't play for Paul Johnson. he played in Chan Gailey's pro style offense (though with a horrendously inconsistent Reggie Ball as his QB). Thomas was already on the roster when Johnson got there.

there's a bit more to Johnson's than just triple option. his Hawaii teams could throw the ball pretty well. run and shoot type stuff.

We actually looked to Diarse to throw a pass instead of our starting QB and the QB quit on the route...

In between your lol'ing why don't you take a stab at the actual question. Why is a triple option offense with a first year starter at quarterback better at passing the ball than Lsu?
