he took the blame for their season. just like their last DC.

they didn't have the athletes on the DL and at other key positions; it's not that he was that bad of a DC. in fact, those last 2 DC's were much better at their job BEFORE they came to college station. it appears that they just weren't that good at recruiting defensive players to play at a&m.

my whole point is that Chavis doesn't recruit much. it's ironical to me that the aggies keep firing DC's because they didn't bring enough talent in and they hire a DC that probably won't either.

Can't see Chavis lasting long there. He does require elite experienced talent. Look at last year

Look at last year

When we could score a lot Chavis defense was poor because opponents offenses had to open it up and out score us. This year as an opponent if you didnt turn it over and give us a short field there was no way we could score much. When they needed a score to win they opened it up a little and we were defenseless just like last year.

I agree Snyder was not a bad DC. In fact, I think he's quite good. Scheme-wise better than Chavis even.
