It really is time for LM to step up and take some of the blame for this fall . I have yet to here him take any blame for anything.

This is a dumb post.

Miles does need to step up. He needs to get out and vocally show leadership, confidence, and vision.

The worst thing Miles can do is focus on the negative aspects of what's going on. He needs to recruit, recruit, recruit.

First he needs to recruit the draft eligible players. And, the PR dept should make a huge deal for each player that stays.

He also needs to be recruiting a top DC. This is obviously a requirement. And, whomever he hires should be sold as an upgrade from chief. Again, PR is important.

Finally, he needs to recruit the current commitments and those considering LSU. The PR moves above will be a part of that. His hires of course will be a part of it.

Never, during his tenure, has it been more imporant for Miles to be out there in front of the camera. The worst thing he could do is go into a cocoon for the next week or two with no information flowing from the program.

Has he ever taken blame for these kinds of things in the past?

Yes.

And, it might make you feel good for a second.

But, there are real important things at play here. Miles needs to earn his money right now. And, he needs to do it by selling the program in general.
