STRENGTHS: Tall, narrow body type with athletic footwork and long-striding speed to pick up yards with his legs. Elite-level arm strength and release quickness with the ability to add velocity and extra RPM's on his throws with ease. Not shy about testing tight windows and trusts his arm to make frozen rope throws and put the ball anywhere he wants on the field.
He has mobility to keep the play alive when the pocket breaks down, shaking off arm tackles and stepping up with his eyes downfield. Shows the ability to work through his reads and is a quick thinker to make snap decisions. Displayed outstanding toughness playing through an ankle injury most of November 2014.
WEAKNESSES: Bridge has improved field vision, but needs to develop his eye use and tends to stare down receivers, often leading defenders to his intended target. His receivers will struggle to handle his fastball at times and Bridge needs to develop a change-up and overall better touch to all levels. His mechanics and accuracy need refined, but neither needs an overhaul.
With only a dozen collegiate games under his belt, Bridge doesn't have the ideal experience and might need a season or two to develop before he's ready for consistent game reps, requiring a patient NFL team.
COMPARES TO: Colin Kaepernick, 49ers -- Bridge is tall and lean with a rocket launcher on his right shoulder like the 49ers quarterback and has more than enough velocity on his passes to toss ropes to all levels of the field.

Is it possible he will improve, sure, but after watching Brandon play almost all of his games, as a South Alabama fan I am actually glad to see him gone. He had all the talent in the world but threw with absolutely no touch and almost every incompletion (and there were a lot of them!) were over the receiver's head.

For the last fricking time, we don't need a QB this draft. Give it another 2-3 years. We need to shore up the OLine first.

He didn't say first round pick. mid-later rounds. Not like the Saints have been hitting HR there every season. Would be nothing wrong with grabbing a QB project IMO

Did we not just extend RG4's contract 2 more seasons? What does that tell you about the QB situation currently? And why pick a QB this draft, which hardly has any decent talent outside of 3 QBs?? We are better off fixing the OLine and other holes on this team before we groom another QB in Drew's final years here in Nola.

We don't need a QB now, but I don't want to wait until we need a QB to draft one. If we're using mid round picks to shore up immediate needs, then we have a lot of problems. If a mid round pick comes in his rookie/2nd season and fills a need, then great, that's awesome. But, we'd be foolish to bank on that. Also, if we're waiting 3 years to draft a QB, then we're going to have a lot more problems.

It really doesn't say much at all. A week ago Griffin was on the Practice Squad, meaning any team in the league was free to add him to their roster. I know last year we convinced him to stay after the Rams attempted to sign him, but how many times is the guy going to turn down a spot on a team's 53, only to keep going back and forth to the PS here. If they thought a ton about him, he would have won the 2nd QB job, and been protected on the 53 all season.

Just because you are only aware of 3 guys, doesn't mean there are only 3 guys with talent.

Then tell me, what QBs do you think are worth being drafted by the Saints this year to groom?

To be honest, I haven't dug too far into this year's draft class, so I'm not sure. But because I don't know something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist, which is what I think is the statement that you were making. I just won't state one way or the other at the moment.

Well you will soon find out that this draft is terrible for QBs. If you don't believe me, do some research.
