Zagg Invisible Shield HDX vs. Glass

Anyone have a 411 on the differences and which one provides the best protection? I had the glass, and liked the feel, but judging by the description, the HDX is less likely to chip/shatter/crack.
Any advice from the Tech Board?

I always order the tempered glass made by i-Blason

I go through a few of them a year because they do scratch but you get zero bubbles with them and don't have that rubber/plastic feel when using your phone. Plus you can remove them and put them right back so you can clean them anytime.

The appeal of the HDX is that it's supposed to feel like glass rather than what you'd normally expect a plastic screen protector to feel like, and maybe they don't chip or crack like tempered glass. Also, if you happen to be using a phone with curved edges (iPhone 6/6+ and Nexus 6 for example), the flexible plastic ones have edge-to-edge cover, whereas the glass ones have to be cut a little short around the edges or you'll get lifting all around the perimeter. However, Zagg is overrated and overpriced.
I get tempered glass screen protectors under $10. I've actually tried 4 different brands for my Nexus 6 so far because they all have different cuts. Companies have been trying to get the fit right. So far the best is a $7 TG screen protector from Jelly Comb.
