with the whole country watching. Instead we wanted to play during a short work week at 2 p.m. on a Tuesday.

But I'm sure Alleva will maneuver himself another raise for playing Notre Dame.

Well good. That's make feel better knowing national TV exposure is no big deal anymore either.

Do you realize that both these teams are 6-6 and lsu had a better season at 8-4. That is why they aren't in this game. If you weren't such an idiot when it comes to football you would understand this.

Get a clue Moron. We had this game all locked up. Till Notre Dame called and said they'd be interested in playing us in Nashville.

So we gave up all the prime time night game TV exposure. In a covered stadium four hours away that would have been packed with LSU fans,

And took a 2 p.m on a Tuesday slot that is probably the worst time slot of any bowl game out there. No one but LSU and Domer fans are going to take off work on this short holiday week, to watch this game tomorrow. We gave up all that prime time TV exposure for nothing but playing a horrible ND team. When we could have been skull dragging the teasips all over Texas for all the world to see instead.

80% of the bowl games are on ESPN you dumbass. Every team is getting national exposure. The majority of people living outside the Southwest have better things to watch/do tonight.

Plus ND is a team that's well known regardless of record. People will be watching just based on name alone.

???

I'm talking about the time slot, not the channel.
Last week was the shortest work week of the year. This week's the second shortest. You think any football fan besides the team's is going to take off of work to watch a tail sliding Notre Dame team get skulldrug again?
Really?

No actually, some of us actually had to work today.
Just like tomorrow.

Anytime ND is playing they're going to get ratings. Add to the fact that an SEC team is playing. It doesn't matter the time slot. Hell, Ole Miss plays at 11:30 on Wednesday, you think that's a great time slot especially for the West Coast?

You can continue to be an idiot and hate, but please continue.

Some of you guys would bitch regardless. Like a bunch of grumpy old arse men. I'm in Nashville supporting my Tigers. Some of you should try it. College football lovers watch the games no matter what so quit bitching. And guess what...all recruits are out of school on break so they are free to watch the game no matter what time it is played!

He's right. If we would have played in the Texas Bowl, it would have been our third time to play in Texas this year.

Houston (Wisconsin)
College Station (A&M)
Houston (Texas)
